Podium finish for Joseph in Hunt the Front stop at Swainsboro

Joseph Joiner returned to the driver’s seat of his Langenfelder Mechanical Contractors No. 10 Late Model on Friday night at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series event.

Drawing 34 Late Models, Joiner stopped the clock second-fastest in his group before placing first in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in second, Joseph lost ground early in the 50-lapper before rallying back onto the podium. He chased Carson Ferguson and Wil Herrington across the line with Payton Freeman and Trey Mills rounding out the top-five.

Saturday's Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series slated event at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) fell to wet weather.

Joseph is currently tied for the lead with Wil Herrington atop the latest series standings.
