“This is the shot in the arm that our team needed. We haven’t had much luck on our side here lately, but we broke out the broom on Saturday night. We couldn’t have hoped for a better night, especially at a brand-new track,” Joiner said. “Even when things aren’t going our way, we’ve got some of the best supporters that a race team could ever ask for, and this win is for each-and-every person who supports us through the thick and the thin.”
Joseph Joiner returned to his winning ways on Saturday night with a $4,000 XR Southern All Star Late Model Series victory at the brand-new Buckshot Speedway (Clanton, Ala.). Joseph swept the night’s program over the 19-car field by setting fast time and a new track record, winning his heat race, and leading every circuit of the 40-lap feature from the pole position.
The win was his third of the year and came over Billy Franklin, Dillon Tidmore, Josh Putnam, and Austin Franklin.
