Hunt the Front tackles Peach State Classic at Senoia; 10th-place outing in Blue/Gray
Kicking off a busy weekend for the Hunt the Front team, Joseph Joiner unloaded his Kubota No. 10 machine at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Friday afternoon for the two-day Castrol FloRacing Night in America season finale.
Dealing with a rough track surface for night one, Joiner made the $20,000-to-win main event but was an early retiree and recorded a DNF.
Scoring a runner-up finish in his heat on Saturday, Joseph started eighth in the $30,000-to-win finale and fell back to 13th after 60 laps.
Joined by his brother Jonathan Joiner on Sunday afternoon for the Blue/Gray at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.), Joseph earned a Top-10 finish in the $20,000-to-win show while Jonathan finished 17th in the $2,000-to-win 602 Crate Late Model main event.
