Joseph second in Clash at the Coast prelim at Southern Raceway
With his Hunt the Front No. 10 Late Model sitting idle, Joseph Joiner hopped behind the wheel of the AcreTrader No. 01 Modified on Monday for the opening round of the Clash on the Coast at Northwest Florida Speedway (Baker, Fla.).
After Monday’s program ended early with a B-Main outing, Joiner followed up a sixth-to-second run in his heat on Tuesday with a ninth-place finish in the 25-lap feature.
Back at the quarter-mile oval on Thursday, Joseph steered to a second-place finish in the feature, chasing Mitchell O’Patik across the line with Shane Stephens coming in third.
Following Friday’s rain out, Joiner stormed into Saturday’s $1,000-to-win Clash on the Coast finale by passing six cars in his heat to finish second. Rolling off 15th for the A-Main, Joseph capped off the weekend with a seventh-place showing.
Jesse Enterkin also competed in a Colin Thirlby-owned Modified for a trio of the Clash on the Coast events, where his sixth-place finish in the A-Main on Monday highlighted his week.
