Joseph Joiner charges from ninth-to-third for podium finish at Senoia Raceway
Heading back to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway after the tour's original date was rained out, Joseph Joiner joined the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series on Saturday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win Independence Shootout.
Racing the rain during the evening, Joiner qualified seventh-fastest in his group and finished third in his heat race before the storm pushed the event to Sunday afternoon. Starting from the fifth-row in the 50-lap feature, Joiner quietly used the bottom line to propel himself to a podium finish behind Shane Clanton and Ashton Winger.
Joiner currently sits fourth in the HTSDS point standings.
